Julie est Directeur de Recherche \u00e0 Nervosave Therapeutics.<\/p><p>Julie a obtenu son doctorat en neurosciences en 2009 \u00e0 Montpellier, France. Ses premiers travaux de recherche ont port\u00e9 sur les effets antid\u00e9presseurs d'un inhibiteur de la synth\u00e8se des neurost\u00e9ro\u00efdes. En tant que sp\u00e9cialiste en neurobiologie comportementale, elle a men\u00e9 plusieurs projets de recherche visant \u00e0 comprendre les m\u00e9canismes cellulaires impliqu\u00e9s dans les d\u00e9ficits de m\u00e9moire li\u00e9s aux troubles neurog\u00e9n\u00e9ratifs et neuropsychiatriques.<br \/>En 2010, Julie a re\u00e7u le Brain &amp; Behavior Research Foundation NARSAD Young Investigator Grant pour financer ses recherches \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 de Pennsylvanie, Philadelphie, \u00c9tats-Unis, sur les m\u00e9canismes des troubles d\u00e9pressifs majeurs. En collaboration avec le Dr Berton et le Dr Beck, elle a mis en \u0153uvre des techniques optog\u00e9n\u00e9tiques de pointe combinant \u00e9lectrophysiologie et imagerie c\u00e9r\u00e9brale. Ensuite, elle a \u00e9tendu ses recherches \u00e0 la maladie de Parkinson et a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des outils et des m\u00e9thodes pour diss\u00e9quer, isoler, visualiser et moduler les r\u00e9seaux neuronaux des ganglions de la base dont la d\u00e9faillance est \u00e0 l'origine des dysfonctionnements moteurs de la maladie.<br \/>En 2012, de retour en France, Julie poursuit sa carri\u00e8re dans la recherche appliqu\u00e9e en neurosciences. Elle a rejoint la CRO Histalim, Montpellier, France, sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans l'imagerie et l'analyse des tissus, d\u00e9sormais filiale de Cerba Healthcare. Elle a g\u00e9r\u00e9 plusieurs \u00e9tudes de toxicologie pr\u00e9cliniques et r\u00e9glementaires BPL faisant partie du dossier de produit m\u00e9dicamenteux exp\u00e9rimental pour l'autorisation d'essai clinique. En 2018, Julie a \u00e9t\u00e9 embauch\u00e9e en tant que chef de projet et responsable qualit\u00e9 et s\u00e9curit\u00e9 par la CRO Amylgen, Montpellier, France, d\u00e9veloppant des mod\u00e8les rongeurs du vieillissement et des pathologies psychiatriques et neurod\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratives.<br \/>Julie is a strongly dedicated scientist with a significant experience in several fields of neurosciences and brain diseases. She masters a large range of rodent models that cover all these diseases. Thanks to her career in CROs, Julie developed a high level of rigor and an ability to work in a high standard quality environment as required by GLP studies, which is essential to develop a top level R&amp;D programs.
